Dungeness is an artists, photographers, film-makers, and nature-lovers dream. A holiday here is perfect for birdwatchers, walkers, cyclists, swimmers, and kite-surfers. Further, this is a Dark Skies place and wonderful for star-gazing.
It's great for wildflower enthusiasts (with 2/3 of British wildflower species) and moth-ers (with 2/3 of British moth species plus cross-Channel migrants). The Watch Tower land is suitable for moth traps. Look out too for butterflies, dragonflies, damselflies, and bumblebees - see www.bumblebeeconservation.org Not to mention the occasional lizard.
You must refer to www.dungenesstrust.co.uk prior to your visit for information about taking photos, making films, and photo shoots on Dungeness.
